Bob Dylan has banned mobile phones from his newly-announced UK tour dates.
The legendary singer has sparked lively debate among fans as he revealed strict rules about the use of phones at his concerts.
Staff from the Yondr tech company will be helping ticketholders put their phones in locked, secure magnetic pouches, which will then be unlocked as they leave the venue after the show.
Other artists who have used the system in recent years include Jack White, Arctic Monkeys and Ghost.
Dylan announced his UK headline tour this week, which includes a trio of shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The legendary singer-song writer will start this next leg of his ongoing Rough And Rowdy Ways world tour in November. He'll play 10 gigs throughout the month, kicking off with a performance at BIC Windsor Hall in Bournemouth on 1 November.
From there, Dylan will head to Liverpool, Edinburgh, Nottingham and Wolverhampton.
Dylan is one of the most acclaimed songwriters of all time, winning 10 Grammys and being nominated on 38 further occasions. He has had six UK top-10 singles and nine UK number-one albums.
The singer has been touring his 2020 album Rough and Rowdy Ways since 2021, playing dates in London, Glasgow and Oxford in 2022.
Dylan's previous UK dates in 2022 were also non-phone events.
